While unboxing the package, the box contains Cast Iron Tawa, Kadai, Fry Pan, Tadka Pan and user manual.

Our In Hand Experience

While testing it, initially we checked the weight using a weighing scale as we felt little heavier while carrying it.

The Fry pan weighs about 2.3 Kgs, kadai weighs about 2.7 Kgs, tawa weighs about 1.9 Kgs and tadka pan weighs about 0.45 Kgs.

Then we seasoned each and every cookware before starting to use it. While drying it, if there is still an iron stain we need to season it again otherwise we can start to use it.

We made a huge mistake as we were unaware initially, that we are not supposed to soak it in water like other cookware. Because soaking the cast iron in water causes the cookware to rust.

So we need to do proper seasoning after each use to prevent rusting and to assure the lifespan.

Drawback

Maintenance is not easy as we need to do seasoning regularly to avoid rusting.
It is too heavy for glass top stoves.
