Most people use only steel or aluminum kadai for cooking. In modular kitchens, probably non-stick utensils are only available.
But non-stick utensils need to be changed after 1 or 2 years. Which is not ideal for regular use, as after some usages the non-stick coating will spoil. So we need to spend money again to buy a new kadai.
This Indus Valley Cast Iron Kadai is the ultimate choice for long term usage. It also helps to save money which we are spending to buy kadai frequently.
We recently purchased it from amazon and used it for a certain time period. We were impressed with its features and functionality.
In this review, we’ll explore its features, performance, and how it works.
We even created and posted a video on YouTube to get deeper insight about the product.
Here is the reviewed video –

Key Features
Our In Hand Experience
While seasoning it, we did it twice to remove the iron dust from the kadai.
There are no certain limitations for seasoning, as we need to do until the complete removal of iron dust stains.
Also, once after cooking we need to transfer the dishes to other utensils. If it remains in kadai, an iron smell infuses into the food items strongly.
We had checked its weight with beatXP Optifit Glaze Digital Weighing Scale. It weighs about 2.7 Kgs.
The only issue is, the Cast Iron Kadai is little heavy in weight.
Otherwise, it is very convenient to prepare curry due to its wide opening mouth.
Benefit
Conclusion
Based on our analysis, we recommend buying the product as it is worth it to buy with this price range. Cast iron helps to spread the heat evenly and retain the heat, which leads to cooking the food faster and saves gas and energy.
Also, It offers health benefits, by infusing the goodness of iron into your dishes.
