Himster Wireless Doorbell Review

In the past decades, people were used to opening the doors even in night time for airflow at home. But nowadays as the apartment culture is growing, everyone is used to closing the door. It doesn’t matter whether it’s noon or night.

If someone visits our home, they can’t even judge whether someone is inside the home or not as mostly we are using in-built locks in the door and not using separate locks and keys.

Without knowing they will knock on the door and wait for the response. In case, If we were watching the TV with full sound, or doing some other work with much more concentration there is a possibility that we won’t be able to hear the sound or voice.

Wired doorbell is hard to install as it requires an electrician to set up wiring and drilling and it may not suit your smart home.

This Himster Wireless Doorbell will be helpful in those situations. We purchased it from amazon and were satisfied and impressed with its features and functionality. So posted a review over here to share our experience with others.

Product Explanation

Box Items: 

Inside the box, you will find the transmitter device (push button), receiver device (chime), two screws, two screw holders, an opening tool for the transmitter, and a user manual.

Transmitter Device:

This transmitter device is featured with a blue indicator light that starts to glow when the button is pressed. It can be accessed from the backside, which allows you to easily screw the transmitter onto the wall for secure installation.

Receiver Device:

The receiver device is designed  with volume up and down buttons. These buttons enable you to conveniently adjust the volume level according to your preference and requirements.

The receiver device allows you to increase the volume across 7 levels, ranging from 0 to 115 dB. And also the forward and backward buttons are there which helps you to easily change the doorbell sounds or melodies.

When the receiver device is turned ON, it will indicate a blue light indicator to mention its active status.

Installation and Pairing Instruction

How to Install?

• Step 1: Plug the receiver device into the socket wherever you need inside the home or office.
• Step 2: Fix the transmitter device on the wall using double sided tape.
• Step 3: Or else we can use the screw to place the transmitter on the wall which helps to prevent from theft or falling down and damage.
• Step 4: Switch on the receiver device by turning on the power button which is in the center of the receiver device.
• Step 5: Do the test once after installation to ensure the function.

Pairing Instruction

1. Plug the receiver device into the power socket.
2. Press and hold the volume + button which is on the side of the receiver device for 3 – 5 seconds.
3. Then the LED light indicator in the receiver device will start to blink continuously.
4. Press the button which is in the center of the transmitter device.
5. Then the receiver device will ring “ding dong” to confirm the completion of pairing.

Please note that each and every Himster Doorbell kit has been paired before the shipment. Try to pair it, in case you’re facing issues while playing it.
