During the rainy season, most people prefer to intake hot water. Usually, we boil water using a gas stove or induction.

In those cases, we have to monitor frequently or else it would over boil, which leads to removing nutritious elements from water.

To overcome these issues, we can use this Pigeon Amaze Plus Electric Kettle, which prevents over-boiling without the need of monitoring. As it automatically shuts off, once the water boils and aids in power saving too.

We recently purchased this product from amazon and used it for a certain time period. We were impressed with its features and functionality.

In this review, we’ll explore its features, performance, and how it works.

Unboxing and First Impression

While we unboxed the package, the box contained a 360^o swivel base, kettle, and user manual with a warranty card. 

The First look of the product is very impressive due to its elegant design and neat finish. The product’s quality is priceworthy and commendable.

The electric kettle is light in weight and comes with a lid with locking mechanism. It is equipped with an indicator that allows us to know the status.

How to Use?

• Step 1: Plug the power cord into the socket and place the kettle on the 360^o swivel base in the correct position.

• Step 2: Push the button on the lid to open it and pour water into the kettle.

• Step 3: Close the lid and turn ON the switch, which is in the kettle handle. Immediately the indicator starts to glow.

• Step 4: Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically shut off.

• If the kettle is not in use for longer, then boil the water twice and empty the kettle.

• While filling water, leave some space to avoid overflowing of hot water during boiling.

• Boiling water causes the kettle to scaling, to prevent scaling and to ensure lifespan, wash it regularly.

• We are not supposed to use this kettle for cooking/heating food items.

• Don’t immerse the kettle into water.

Cleaning and Maintenance

It has been recommended not to use steel wire/detergent/chemicals for cleaning.

Method:

1.Fill white vinegar and leave it for next 1 hour.

2.Then empty the kettle and clean it with wet cloth.

3.Next, boil the water and empty it again.

4.Rinse thoroughly with clean water for 4 to 5 times.

While cleaning, the lid and filter screen in the water dispensing area can be removed and cleaned separately. Also it is recommended to use a soft brush for cleaning.

Our In Hand Experience

During testing, we initially filled the kettle with water till to the middle of the water dispensing hole.

While heating, we turned ON the digital countdown timer, to check the heating/boiling time. It takes 7 minutes 5 seconds to complete the boiling.

Stainless steel body part is too hot. Then we tried to boil milk, but it spilled out. 

Also we prepared maggi by adding required water, maggi and chat masala at a time. Once it reaches a certain temperature, the kettle shuts off automatically. Then we waited for a few seconds and turned ON again as the maggi wasn’t cooked properly. 

Again it turned Off, then we turned ON after waiting for a few seconds, finally it turned out very well.

We tested the shock proof feature by touching it while powered ON, there are no such issues.

Unaware of the cleaning method, we used soap oil, scrubber and water for cleaning.

Based on our analysis, we highly recommend purchasing the electric kettle as it is worth it to buy with this price range from amazon. The quality of the kettle is also admirable and excellent.

It can also be used to prepare instant lemon tea/green tea/tea/coffee rather than boiling water. It helps to prepare quicker.
