We recently purchased it from amazon and used it for a certain time period. We were impressed with its features and functionality.

In this review, we’ll explore its features, performance, and how it simplifies your cleaning routine.

Unboxing and First Impression

While unboxing the package, the box contains 2 Side Brush, Main Roller Brush, HEPA Filter, Reusable Mopping Cloth.

The first look of the product is very impressive due to its stylish and appealing appearance. The quality of the product is also praiseworthy and commendable.

This ECOVACS DEEBOT N10 is designed with powerful suction capacity with high battery capacity for long lasting performance as it is battery powered.

It is also engineered with an eye design for antibacterial care.

It is specially designed for 2-in-1 purposes, for cleaning and mopping.

Product Overview and Usage Details

Robot 

1.On the Top Layer

On the top layer, there are two options. One is the Auto mode button, which is used to function the robot automatically.

Another option is True Mapping Distance Sensor, which is used to map the floor distance.

2.Under the Top Layer

The top layer on the robot can be slid upward to turn ON the power.

Under the slide top layer of the robot, there is a button to reset the robot settings.

There is a small white LED indicator, which indicates the Wi-Fi status.

A small brush is included with a provision to store it.

There is a dustbin to collect the dust during mop, which can be easily detached and attached by the handle. 

The dustbin comes with an antibacterial filter net lid and release button to securely lock it.

3.Bottom View

It is designed with two side brushes, which helps to wipe the dust into the dustbin while cleaning/mopping.

It is engineered with two charging contacts, which allows it to charge the robot through docking station pins.

It comes with two driving wheels and a universal wheel to easily move and navigate the robot.

There is a main brush to clean the floor, which comes with two release buttons to detach for easy maintenance.

It is equipped with a carpet detection sensor to sense and avoid carpets while mopping.

Reservoir, which is used to collect water and perform mopping. It comes with a release button to detach it and is designed with a water inlet to fill the water. It is included with a mopping pad plate to fix the mopping cloth. 

We can easily detach the mopping cloth after mopping to make it clean and dry.

1.Powerful Suction 

It is engineered with 4300 Pa powerful suction. Pa stands for Pascals, which is a measuring unit of pressure. 

It refers to suction capability by creating pressure between the surface and appliance. 

The more powerful suction tends to effectively catch dirt, dust, etc., on the floor or carpet as it is important in cleaning.

2.Mopping System

It is designed with the OZMO Mopping system, OZMO correlates with the water tank

The OZMO technology uses a precision micro water pump, which enables it to control and adjust the water level and flow. 

It also helps to prevent leakage and excessive moisture on floors while mopping.

It comes with four levels of water flow settings.

3.Motor

It is crafted with a 2.5 L hypoallergenic dust bag with auto sealing option. It automatically dispenses the waste once after cleaning. 

Auto seal assures that no dirt or dust particles and its odor infuse into the air.

The dust bag is able to hold the dust up to a month, which helps in reducing frequent change.

6.dToF TECHNOLOGY

DToF stands for Direct Time of Flight, is a type of sensor which is often used to measure distance and for mapping.

It also uses an advanced laser-based LiDAR navigation system for accurate precision in mapping.

This dToF technology helps in 4x accuracy to detect the particles up to 2mm and 2x in wide angle to detect the objects within 10 meters.

It will perform a 360 degree scan to generate the most efficient map.

7.Antibacterial Filter

This Robot Vacuum Cleaner undergoes three filtration processes, which ensures to capture the dust particles.

It uses an E11 filter, which captures 95% of bacteria, after being treated with two antibacterial agents, it increases to 99.99%.

At the final stage, it uses activated carbon. Which swallows the bad smell or odor from the wastage.

8.Battery

This Robot Vacuum Cleaner is designed with an inbuilt 5200mAh of lithium battery with higher capacity.

It helps to operate the vacuum cleaner for longer as it is battery powered.

9.Smart Charging

It goes to the charging duck automatically, if the battery gets fully drained. The LED light in the power button starts to glow while charging, once charging is done, the LED light would turn Off.

If it gets enough power to finish the on-going cleaning/mopping process, it comes back to the position where they left previously.

Remove the reservoir, mopping pad plate and cloth before charging. Then press the auto mode button for 3 seconds, to send it to the docking station for charging.

To charge, it has to be powered ON.

10.Mobility

It is able to move and navigate easily.  It also prevents being jammed by itself without human help.

It reduces the missed area while cleaning/mopping.

11.Backup Hours

It is capable of operating up to 330 minutes once fully charged.

It can easily fill water and cover up to 400 sq.mt on a single charge.

Important Facts to Note

  1. Make sure that each room’s door was opened to explore the house, only at first time use.
  2. Take things such as vessels, slippers, and clothes from the floor for proper cleaning.
  3. Use purified water for mopping to enhance reservoir lifespan.
  4. Turn Off the robot and docking station, while cleaning it.
  5. Main brush, Side brush and dustbin net filter lid can be cleaned with a cleaning brush, which is included with the robot.
  6. Need to place barriers at edges to prevent the DEEBOT robot from falling down.
  7. We need to use this appliance for indoor cleaning alone.
  8. It is recommended not to use it without the dustbin.

Indication in Auto Mode Button

  • It glows a white light, if the robot is cleaning.
  • Flashes/Blinks white light, if it is charging/starting/relocating.
  • If the battery is low, it glows a red light.
  • If there are any issues or problems in the robot, it flashes a red light.

Our In Hand Experience

While testing it, we initially plugged in the charging dock. The wire length is too long, so to remove the unwanted cable clutter and to organize we winded the layer of cable in the backside of the charging dock.

We pressed the Auto mode button to start the cleaning. We can also operate it through App. If the cleaning is done, the robot automatically goes to the charging dock.

In Between the cleaning also, it goes to the dock station if the charge is drained. If the charge is completely drained, it takes up to 6 hours to complete the charging

Then we observed how it cleaned the dust, by simply putting the collected dust in a place and checked it. The result was excellent, as it collects minute dust particles too.

Then we placed the robot on the top of the table and checked, it comes to the edges but it goes back and doesn’t fall off because of the anti-drop sensor.

Next, we check in the kitchen. It collects all the dust and it doesn’t remove the stain as the mopping mechanism simply wet the floor while cleaning.

We interrupted the robot by placing a leg in the cleaning path, to check the response. It tried the maximum to step on but it can’t so the robot skipped and moved to the next area.

It also cleaned well at the edges of the wall, but it wasn’t able to reach the corner edges, so it skipped.

If the room door is partially opened, it skips some area from the back side of the door. Because it doesn’t have enough space to move forward.

Even under the table, it goes and cleans the dirt. Sometimes it skips the cluttered area and sometimes it cleans. So we can’t finalize as there are some issues in mapping.

It goes under the sofa and cleans the floor. But not the entire area of the sofa, as the space between the sofa and floor is too small.

And we checked whether it collects the cake dirt or not? It only collects the dry cake particles, if it is wet it becomes stained in the floor. 

It completely covers the area under the cot and also other small areas while cleaning. Then we interrupted the robot with different sizes of toys. It doesn’t swallow it whatever the size is, it just pushes away the toy.

At one point, the robot indicated a red light and stopped working. While checking the issue, we noticed that the nut got stuck in the main brush.

This ECOVACS DEEBOT N10 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has both positives and negatives. But we were satisfied only with the cleaning process as the mopping is not effective.

We encountered some issues in mapping.
It doesn’t remove stain while mopping, it just wet the floor.

Based on our analysis, we suggest purchasing the DEEBOT Robot Vacuum Cleaner as it is worth it to buy. The quality of the product is also admirable and excellent.

It uses advanced sensors and mapping technology, which makes it easy for smooth navigation and effective cleaning on various surfaces. Its automated home cleaning process makes it a standout choice.
