1.Cookwell Bullet Mixer Grinder Review

1.1.Unboxing and First Impression

While unboxing the package, the box contains a warranty registration card, a booklet – user manual instructions with recipe ideas, motor base, 1 long juicer jar, 2 long sipper jar, 2 short jar, 2 normal lid/cap, 1 sprinkler/filter lid and 2 sipper cap with rubber ring belt. The product is just covered with cardboard.

The first impression of the product is very impressive due to its stylish and modular look. The quality of the product is also excellent.

1.2.How to Use?

• Step 1: Select the respective jar blade according to the food and fill the jar with ingredients.

• Step 2: Invert and fix the jar into the base of the mixer grinder.

• Step 3: Twist the jar clockwise slightly to lock it.

• Step 4: Insert the power cord into the plug and turn ON the switch.

• Step 5: Then start the grinding process. Twist the jar in an anticlockwise direction to unlock.

• Step 6: Once the grinding is done, turn Off the switch and remove the jar.

1.3.Dry Grinding Blade Vs Wet Grinding Blade Vs Cream Blade

1.3.1.Dry Grinding Blade

It is used to grind dry ingredients such as nuts and dry fruits, spices, grains and coffee beans. It is designed with a number of four blades.

1.3.2.Wet Grinding Blade

It can be used for multi purposes such as chopper, grinder, mixer and blender. It is equipped with a number of six blades.

• By using this, we can grind wet ingredients such as chutney, paste, baby food, etc.

• We can chop fruits and vegetables such as onion, tomato, coconut etc.,

• We can prepare smoothies, milkshakes with a blender.

• With this we can mix and prepare batter for idli, pancakes, etc

1.3.3.Froth & Cream Blade

It is used to make creamy and fluffy juices, milkshakes, Lassi etc. We are not supposed to use this blade to grind solid ingredients. Here the blade design is entirely different.

1.4.Types of Jar 

• Small Jar: Which is ideal for wet grinding purposes.

• Tall Jar: It is perfect to prepare juices, smoothies, milkshakes, etc

• Sipper or Portable Jar: It is the ultimate choice to blend and carry it anywhere while traveling to store the food items like juices, milkshakes, etc.

1.5.Key Features

• Normal Lid – To cover the jar and store the food within it.
• Ring Lid – To directly drink from the jar.
• Sprinkle Lid – To spray the freshly powdered masalas or to filter the juices. This Lid is designed with two different sizes of holes to spar/filter.

1.6.Safety Instructions

1. Keep the power cord and motor free from water.
2. Don’t fill ¾ ingredients to the total capacity of the jar.
3. Don’t fill hot liquid or food into the jar, as it can burst or leak.
4. Don’t run the mixer grinder for more than 1 minute. Give some intervals to cool down the motor.

1.7.Our In Hand Experience

1.7.1.Tested Veggies and Fruits

While testing with this mixer grinder, it grinds the food items as effectively as it can. As a testing process, we have tried with various fruits and vegetables to evaluate the performance.

• Coconut – Firstly, we tried to grind coconut with chilly to prepare chutney. So we had taken the wet grinding blade. We haven’t added required water for smooth grinding, so we held the jar as it started to vibrate and it also took longer than usual to grind. After adding enough water, there is no vibration and grind it smoothly. Totally it takes 1.30 seconds to complete the grinding.

• Gram Dal– Then we tried to grind the peanut/gram dal, it grinds the peanut very smoothly in a fraction of seconds. But we grind it for 10 seconds for our satisfaction.

• Pomegranate – Next we tried to grind pomegranate to prepare juice, so we took a dry grinding blade. Within two seconds, it grinds smoothly. We have filtered with a separate strainer, there are no chunks. We grind it for 10 seconds to be satisfied.

• Apple – We tried to grind the apple, it grinded smoothly. It took 10 seconds but we continued to grind up to 20 seconds. We have filtered it with a separate strainer/filter, there are no chunks. Then again we filtered it with a sprinkle lid, it was very easy to filter.

• Watermelon – Next we tried to grind watermelon. We fill the complete jar with watermelon, but still within a fraction of second it grinds very smoothly. Grinding is done within 5 seconds, still we grinded it for 10 more seconds. Then we filtered by using a sprinkle lid in both sizes of holes. Through small size holes, we aren’t able to filter and over larger holes are able to filter. But still it is hard to filter as the watermelon broken seeds got stuck into the holes. 

• Banana – Finally we tried to grind a banana, to make a banana milkshake. So we chose froth & creamy blade. It grinds very quickly in a smooth manner within 10 seconds. But still we ran it for 20 seconds for satisfaction. While filtering it, we found some chunks as the banana was slippery and it got skipped. Then we tried to grind it with a dry grinding blade, but the output was not satisfactory. While grinding it with a wet grinding blade, the result was satisfactory.

1.7.2.Leakage Test

• While storing the juice within the jar using a normal lid, it was leaking even if the lid was covered tightly.

• Storing the juice with a sipper lid effectively fits and ensures leak proof as the lid is crafted with a rubber belt to prevent leakage.

1.7.3.Cleaning Jars & Grinding Blades

It is easy to clean the jar through running water. We can just wipe the bottom of the mixer grinder with a clean cotton cloth or sponge.

Based on our analysis, we strongly recommend buying the product as it is worth it to buy with this price range. The quality of the product is also commendable. It comes with a unique feature, as we can perform multi-functions like chopping, mixing, blending and grinding with this mixer grinder.
