Wakefit Microfiber Hollow Fibre Sleeping Pillow Review – Best Pillow to Buy?

To get a proper sleep, a pillow is also an X factor. In the past decades, people often used the cotton filled pillow. But it is very strong and heavy. So it is hard to adjust as it won’t provide appropriate support. Now it has been upgraded to Microfiber pillow, which is incredibly soft, comfortable and light in weight.

We recently purchased it from Amazon and we were impressed with its features and functionality. So here we posted a detailed review to share our experience with others.

1.1 Unboxing and First Impressions

While unboxing it, the box contains a Number of two pillows, Extra Fiber and warranty card. The packing is just done with a plastic cover to wrap the pillow and extra additional fiber. 

The first look of the pillow is very impressive due to its pleasant look.

1.2 Microfiber

Microfiber is a synthetic material which is made of very fine and ultra-thin fibers. Microfiber is specially known for its softness and durability. Microfiber is very light in weight, which helps to provide comfort and soft feel. Microfiber is crafted to promote breathability.

1.350 GSM Spun Polyester Fabric – GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter, the higher the GSM, it is more durable and the fabric is heavier. Spun polyester fabric is often used for hypoallergenic and cooling purposes.

2.Height Adjustable – We can adjust the height of the pillow by removing the hollow fiber fill. We just need to open the Zip to add or remove the fiber.

3.Pillow Feel – This pillow is designed with fluffy and medium firmness to give comfortable support and firmness.

4.200 GSM Hollow Fibre – Hollow fiber is a type of synthetic fiber, which is able to trap the air with its hollow design and create an insulation layer. 200 GSM refers to its weight or density. 1. Weight – This Wakefit Microfiber Height Adjustable Hollow Fibre Sleeping Pillow is light in weight as the fill material is Microfiber. It has been mentioned in amazon that it’s weight is only 1.7 Kgs, but while testing it it’s weight is only 0.9 Kgs.

2. Material – This pillow is made up of spun polyester fabric with hollow fiber fillings, which are often used for cooling purposes and softness. It is designed with medium firmness, which ensures both support and soft feel.

3. Washable – The removable design of the pillow cover makes it easy to wash.

4. Zipper – This pillow comes with Zipper Cover, which helps to open the zip to fill the extra fiber to adjust the height of the pillow. We can remove the cover and wash it to keep it dust free.

5. Dual Side – We can use both the sides to experience the utmost comfort for head and neck.

6. Sleeping Position Comfort – As per our personal experience, we feel the utmost comfort and softness in all sleeping positions such as Side sleeping, Back sleeping and Stomach Sleeping. We can use this pillow for knees as well, as it gives support and helps to relieve knee pain.

7. Pillow Cover Softness – This pillow cover is crafted with spun polyester fabric, which helps in providing the soften feel.

8. White Colour – As the pillow color is white, it easily gets strained and becomes unhygienic. So it is better to use an extra pillow cover to get rid of it.

9. Pillow Surface – Here, the pillow surface is not even as we need to fill the microfiber and also the zipper design length is too short. So it is hard for us to make the surface even.

10. Price – The price range of the product is affordable as a number of 2 pillows could cost Rs.699/-.

Based on our analysis, we recommend buying the product as it is worth it to buy with this price range. As the pillows are good and fluffy. The foam is really good and adjustable according to the neck and head, to have comfortable sleep.
